My name is Declan and I am the founder and director of Creative Keepers. I originally set up Creative Keepers on the back of the growing trend for foundation development in the UK academy system. Since then, Creative Keepers has developed to a larger goalkeeper operation with various members of staff and players from across the country.

Biography

Meet Declan Williams, the owner and director of coaching at Creative Keepers. Declan’s coaching odyssey spans over 12 years, during which he has made a impact both in the UK and internationally. His coaching knowledge extends beyond borders, having worked in the USA as a Director of Coaching and leading numerous academy teams abroad. His commitment to fostering talent and instilling a love for the sport has left an enduring mark on aspiring football players.

In terms of qualifications, Declan’s resume is nothing short of extensive, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and professional development. His certifications include Level 1 and Level 2 FA Football Coaching, FA Coaching Disabled Footballers, NSCAA Level 1 and Level 2 Goalkeeping, and the NSCAA National Diploma in Coaching. This wealth of knowledge is further enhanced by his UEFA B License and a First Class Honours Degree in Elite Performance Coaching for Football.

Declan’s commitment to player safety and well-being is evident through certifications in First Aid and Safeguarding Children. His expertise in talent identification and psychology is underscored by his FA Talent Identification Award and FA Psychology Award, showcasing a holistic approach to player development.
